I was looking at these Jack Stone figures in a display the other day and was surprised to find that they were much smaller than I imagined. Has anyone else noticed how Lego is now cleverly guiding innocent create'n'builders surely and slowly into being hardcore technic builders? This might be old news to people in Europe but I found a German online store already accepting orders for dinosaur and Jack Stone sets. Seattle area target stores have a couple LOM sets on sale. 7311-Red Planet Crusier-$4.40 7314-Recon-Mech RP-$13.90 78777-Alien Discovery-$1.94 (A great deal but I only found one.)   New Stuff at Walmart and Winners
 
Just found 4105 for $14.99 at Walmart today. This is the 500 piece Creator bucket. A little expensive, but a nice assortment. They also have the green and orange Duplo buckets in too. A friend of mine that has a wholesale account with lego heard from some person inside lego that they were going to scrap the current 9v track and go for a non powered track setup, more like duplo trains (the person at lego didnt say why but I think (...) I went into a Roses store (NC, US) yesterday and saw that they had a few older Lego sets available. Nothing interested me, but I thought it was neat to still see some of these things for sale at retail: 8002 Destroyer Droid - $30 6713 Grip-n-Go (...) LOL, ok in the newest issue of Lego Magazine (May - June 2002) on page 34 they do a head-to-head comparison of Pepper and Jack Stone. And guess who wins.... Pepper!! YAY PEPPER!! Last night, after my teeth cleaning, I stopped in the Penfield, NY (corner of 250 and 441) Target, and found a nice Lego clearance in progress.
