FA: Mindstorms RIS 1.0 + 1.5 upgrade (RCX brick has AC jack)

I've put up my Lego Mindstorms Robotics Invention System 1.0 for auction. It contains the RCX brick with the AC jack. I'm also including the 1.5 upgrade package I ordered from Lego. (URL) it seems some or all of my images show up as dead links. If (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  RE: I played with fire...

(...) My mistake. The RCX 1.0 has an AC adaptor jack which has a full-wave bridge rectifier to convert to DC and would provide AC protection. I guess RCX 2.0, without the external jack, does not have this. (17 years ago, 26-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

RCX 1.0 and RCX 1.5 - ANY differences???

I just purchased 20+ LEGO Mindstorm kits from DACTA (to use in a freshmen Elementary Computer Programming course) and they came with the RCX 1.0 units (with the power jack).   Re: 2 Motors -> 1 axle

I have to agree with Jack Gregory, Tilman Sporkert and others that there is no 'differential force' causing motors to 'fight' each other. A commonsense understanding of the way an electric motor works should make it clear why this is the case. An (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) At least they don't jack up their prices above retail, or put non outlet stores in outlet malls, both KB tricks. The shipping isn't so bad if your order is bigger, mine was 300 and the shipping added 20. Not a great deal but not too bad. ++Lar (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
