| | Dave Johann's Entry - posted by proxy
|
| Dave got in a fight with the internet and they aren't talking to each other right now. So I'm posting his entry for him. Here's the description in his words: Iron Mecha Entry - January 2006 "My interpretation of the Iron Mecha competition was a bit (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| (...) That Red with the Dark Grey will never go out of style! Looks good. I like the way you did the feet. They are classic, yet nicely emulate the drawing. (19 years ago, 25-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| | Iron Mecha 2nd Update
|
| (...) I don't have time for a bogus entry silly! Here's a picture of where I'm at...sorta...turning out weird. Oh well. I'll just make sure I finish. (URL) No use waiting for the moderated folder. I only took one picture quickly :-p (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| (...) While you've managed to give this mecha quite an organic look, I can't help but feel that you've neglected the greebles a bit too much. As it is, the mecha almost looks like an animal rather than an organic machine. Also, while you don't need (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| | My finished Iron Mecha entry - The Red Queen
|
| (2 URLs) Armed with a 15 Jiggawatt railgun and a high-explosive missile launcher, the Red Queen dominates the battlescape of the weird place where giant tanks with legs are actually physically possible and militarily sound. It is piloted by Eddie (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| Adrian, You rock! So far, this is my favorite colorscheme of any of the IM's built thus far. I'm now glad I didn't use it. ;) A transforming quadra-ped is a HUGE challenge. To build it, keep the basic design intact, come up with a cool alternate (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
