| | Re: IRON MECHA - phase one
|
| (...) Thanks. :-) Wait until phase two of my master plan... (...) It was actually very interesting to see if the artist's design really worked as a real 3D object. The artist got the leg posture in the image slightly warped. The leg on the left side (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| (...) Your running storyline always has me laughing. I preferred the 1st candadite for pilot, what set is that face from? I guess the goatee is just kinda creepy. Looking good so far- are you considering this your entry, or will you be doing an (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| Interesting, but in Iron Chef you are given a main ingredient that you must use to make a dish of your own choosing. That would be more akin to specifying a Lego part that must be used prominently, then the rest of the design is up to the (...) (19 years ago, 20-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I also like how a lot of problems I have encountered in building large multiped mecha have been revealed, (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| I like the use of plate skinning and the color scheme. Joint tech looks like a Bionicle/Throwbot hybrid. I thought about attaching the rear legs like that, then wondered how it would affect walking. But that setup may help it, like a grasshopper, (...)
