an idea for an epic (game) adventure!... [long]

This is an idea I've been toying with. If I ever go *completely* insane and decide to run my own convention, this is something I'd like to run at that con. This is a "work in progress". Nonetheless, I'd appreciate feedback. ;-) Thanks, Franklin (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LoTR: The Two "Towels"

Okay, you just need to read the book and get it firsthand. The Ringwraiths are sort of blind because they're dead. Well undead to be precise. They ride regular horses which are raised from colts in the presence of evil so they're not scared of evil (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: RCX --> miniBoard(was: lack of interest in basic stamp and ba sicx)

I don't think you're nuts. A 32 bit micro for Lego would be a cool project. I design Printed Circuit Boards for a living and I can assure you a simple design would be fairly easy. (I know, that's easy for me to say). I think an HC11 or HC12 would be (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I didn't really mean to exclude anything, I really just meant to raise the idea that character advancement isn't really an absolute necessity. The game would be a lot simpler if it were left out; in any case, with only four possible ratings (...) (22 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Empire's Age?

Nice points, but I think it needs a little dash of My 2 Cents. It is hard to buy over here as well (and I don't want to start a starwars war) but according to an official LucasFilm LTD released book, there Old Republic was formed 25,000 years before (...)   Some CW character teasers

After a solid 2 hours of brainstorming and writing, I've got some teaser descriptions of *some* (not all) of my characters for CW. No pictures that I like yet, cept Tabbor.   CAD sketches of Swedish and one Danish train

Hello! I've not been doing any Lego-building or -CADding for a very long time now, and I've come to realize that I probably won't be doing it for a long time to come either. As some of you might know, I just came out of my Dark Ages. As my post-Dark Ages masterpiece, I'm going to build a replica of J.R.R Tolkien's Middle Earth, very very microfig-style. However, I want to build Barad-Dur (Sauron's MASSIVE tower in (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.castle)
