Re: Guess who paid for those eToy Lego bargains?

(...) Exactly. *Somebody* has to do it. (...) But remember, for most parts suppliers to make it worth their while, they are buying sets in bulk at deep discounts-- 50%-70% off, which has got to be approaching TLC's profit margin. Think of what (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Problems with Darwin's theory

(...) Bwahaha. The vast majority of fossils are of non extinct animals? Find me a live trilobite, will you? Trilobites are the most common fossil out there, which isn't too surprising since they apparently lived 300-600 million years ago and had (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  linked user bios?

I'm relatively new to Lugnet, and it is difficult for me to keep track of the other users. I think it would help to unify the postings if there were a way that users could fill out a survey/bio form (simlar to the RTL roll-call). Each posting could (...)   Minfigs of the past....

Hi all, I was going through some of my old Lego that dates way back to the late 70's (Sorry to those of you who remember that quite clearly...) and I found these minfigs. Any ideas as to the value of these figs? Are there any that are considered (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: What kind of music do you listen to?

(...) My tastes in music are just about as varied as possible. Until my recent CD collection was stolen I had a bit of everything. Classical, country, dance, rock, pop, rap, TONS of Soundtrack CD's, Deep Forest, Abba, just about everything. Lately (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.people)

Design study - F14 Main Gear  [DAT]

This is for Jeroen, This is the design I had worked out for the main landing gear on my aborted F-14 modelling project. Turning the axle in the gearbox will cause the gear to retract forward, with the tire rotating neatly 90 degrees to fit (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dat)

I have just uploaded several new pages and tons of images showing the current state of my superfortress in the Ninja theme. Perhaps these images will explain why I dubbed it "superfortress". I also uploaded two pictures of my storage system and (...) (26 years ago, 14-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)
