In The administrator section you can set the power down time - the time that the RCX will stay on, unattended. The range is 0-255 with 0 meaning always on, and the rest in minutes.   Dirt Crusher -- antenna pack???
 
(URL) refer to the link above. I got this pack thinking there were some instructions on how to integrate it into the dirt crusher. But there was none!!! Thanks for the suggestions/advise guys. I remembered the concerns about the uneven surface, but had not thought of the surface friction causing problems.
