  500 LEGO Sets Auction

All, Here is a list of 500 LEGO sets that will soon be for sale via auction at auczilla.com. About 1/4 of these are from a private collection I purchased a couple months ago (as well as a few duplicates I'd been accumulating myself), and the other (...)   Re: What is a "review"?

(...) Allan's familiartity with other lego sets and elements is absolutely relevant, how could it be otherwise? That fact is practically the soul of his reviews. As to his familiarity with Jack Stoned, I'll concede his methods might have been more (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: UCS X-Wing Review

This set sounds just about perfect. Oh the wonder if I could only own one. But, alas, I need a car, and have no job as of yet. So I must wait (not many 16 year olds find that kind of money in their couch). Unless some generous soul would like to (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars)

Much to my surprise, Racers are kind of cool!!!!!!!! (4567 Surfer)

RACERS have LEGO studs on 'em! They have two cool decorated Spaceish elements. The driver is a 2x2 brick and can be used as a little gargoyle. I used the car brick on a Castle tower MOC today, so it is not useless! You just gotta be creative with (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: Extremely cheap 4561 Railway Express

(...) Wow. 7 x 4561. So how are you parting them out? :) I just grabbed one myself - it was a nice drive down there from Richmond, but horrible back! I paid $79 including tax, which is an awesome deal. You could almost get 2 for the price of 1 (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: What kind of motor comes with the 4559?

(...) I admit I didn't study the Railway Express motor very carefully, but I sure didn't notice any lights on it! The RE *set* does include a (standard) 9v light, as well as the train headlight diffuser piece. The 9v light is powered by connecting (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

I like a lot of the details-- lights, wreaths, etc. Though it seems, however, that you have already picked up the most valuable building tip you could get -- to build your train 8 wide!! {:^D As an aside, trains which run (...)
