One of the new features of the MichLTC layout was Steve Ringe's home layout module "plopped in" to a section of the show layout. (it therefore contained a "local loop" to allow I think he might be posting further about it. But just to whet people's (...) Found my first real batch of 2002 sets at Target today. The report on the suspected 'dark red' color in the Pod Car? WRONG!! It is standard LEGO red, and the darker pieces are the standard LEGO *brown*... I'm very disappointed in this! I was really (...) I barely made my entry under the deadline, and I have another large project that I wanted to include also, but alas, it still needs work.... This bridge is modeled after an actual swing bridge over the Mississippi River,just south of St. Paul, MN. I (...) (...) I think LEGO uses Loctite in its Model Shops when glueing together Technic pieces. They used to use MEK - Methyl Ethyl Keytone (spelling?) - for the 'regular' ABS plastic bricks, but I don't know what they're using now. (MEK doesn't "stick" to (...)
