I placed a small 'bulk' order online a few weeks ago. 5 different items
(plus a free tshirt), total of about a dozen packs. So far you've shipped
it to me in *four* seperate packages, and I think I've got at least one more
on the way.
I appreciate you sending me stuff as soon as it is available, but I also
think you're spending too much money on shipping charges.
I'd propose you give me the option to just ship everything together, once
all the items are in stock. If I don't need something "right now" I don't
mind waiting a few weeks for it, and you'd save some money on shipping charges.
Yes, there are times we need stuff imediately, but there are a lot of times
we order stuff just to have it. I think a lot of people would be willing to
wait a bit if it would help LEGO make a little more money (by spending less
on shipping!) on their order...

Amazon.com (in the US anyway) gives a limited version of this, letting you select between "ship in minimum number of packages" or "ship each item as it becomes available (for extra cost"... thus giving the customer control AND (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
