I really do miss the turnpike.... But that's another story. Here in the Milwaukee area there are only 2 Targets and for the 2nd week in a row there are NO!! markdowns. I mean nothing at all. Last week there was 1 Primo set in the clearance isle and (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shame, Shame...."plastic" rubber tires in new technic

Those same wheels are found in the 3057 Create 'N Race. Cheesy is all I can say about them. feel just like the "imitation" brand but w/Lego logo on them. I hope these don't make a long stay in any of the lines. Fred (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Rotation Contacts

Has anyone ever tried to make a set of electrical contacts that allow rotation? What I want to do is have an electric motor on my crane using the large turntable from 8480 but I don't want a flopy wire in the way of rotation. Any ideas or thoughts (...)   Re: What do you do with your empty boxes?

Shred them??? I would gladly pay the shipping for instructions for sets that I don't already own (which is still quite a few despite recent Lego binges). Send me an e-mail of which instructions you have many of and maybe we can make a deal. Fred (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

Re: downloading the pcode during assembly

The HB is supposed to be in special test mode, see (URL) . Re your downloading problems, first, see the debug info at (URL) the Windows serial debug test there, make sure that the serial signals are getting from the HB's RJ11 connector to the 68HC11 (...) I'm up for the TB3 thing, I've been patiently waiting for TB1 for over a month from the person before me. (And for the 1/2 U-joints... I'll take e'm since I have a habit over stressing them on power steering units) LMK Fred (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Brian Try using dl.exe rather than dlm.exe Also, put a line LOOP BRA LOOP after you store the value in the Port A. otherwise the 6811 will happily execute whatever's next in memory. Fred In your message you said: (...) . (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Fred- We unloaded the last three files that you mentioned, sonar.c, robot221.c, and gp2d02_i.icb, and then tested the Lego Shaft Encoder. I would tend to think he's reffering to parts used in wings. Like those in the 8480 Space Shuttle. Technic sloped beams, small bevel gears for flaps and such. Fred (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
