Re: LEGO design patterns... you know, there's a book in that, I'm sure of it!

(...) I was gonna mention Fred Martin, but then you did... If someone was to want to do such a thing (and it would be very nifty if someone did!) his stuff would provide one starting point. Another starting point would be some of the SNOT (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) John, I simply can't accept that. (...) All evidence suggests that Fred Phelps and Pat Robertson and Eric Rudolph and all the rest would engage in murderous violence--and their followers would support them--if only they thought that they could (...)   Loader (new one) vs. UAV!  [DAT]

This is kinda like a follow up to Jeremy H. Sproat's lifter/loader; it inspired me to make this one! Oh! BTW Fred, the operator of the Loader, has just gotten in a fight with a UAV that has been hacked into. "Damn! My job's hard enuff', and now I (...)   Expansion board test routine

Hello all, Well here it is, for what it's worth. The functions are pretty obvious, it works just like the original hbtest.c that Fred wrote. To try servos other than #5, you'll have to edit the line: servo5=(16*knob()); In the test_servo() routine. (...) (26 years ago, 15-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Availability of Expansion board?

What is the status of the Handyboard expansion board? The latest page update from Fred appears to be Jul 20th, and indicated that the board might be available at the end of the summer. Todd (26 years ago, 17-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Knight and Wolf Mega Bloks MECHA

I saw the Knight and Wolf Giant Blok Bot set at my local Fred Meyer last night for $19.99. The color scheme is pretty cool, with silver and blue. The blokifig is pretty cool, too.
