| | In Touch
|
| Last night's "In Touch", on BBC R4, contained a Lego item. This is how it was described: ==+== ETHNIC ENABLE Lego is used as a training technique in business. The idea, is that by building symbolic models, you can focus companies' attention on their (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

| | Race depiction in early LEGO
|
| Last week another debate about race and color representation appeared on these groups. I looked through it for a place to place this message, but got lost in the debate group and so I decided to start a new thread. This post is just meant to shed (...) (25 years ago, 6-May-00, to lugnet.general)

Also, we had a thread about a new Minifig Extractor/Modifier and the need of a syntax that covers all (well, at least more) of the situations that may come up in that (...) But I want the left arm to remain in the same angle. TIA /Tore 0 (...) (15 years ago, 26-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

| (...) You're welcome. (I know I'm in the minority a bit, but...) I'm not a fan of bending mini-figures at the knees and elbows or performing other not-physically possible changes to the bodies when modeling -- why use LEGO elements at all if one is (...) | (...) Thanks. :) (...) If you don't think of gradient colored irises, it would be 100 times easier with disc and ring primitives. Texture mapping is great - in other situations than this. (...) | (...) <model snipped> Wow, this looks really great. I have half a mind to texture map some (magnified) eyes into the end of the binoculars. I think that would look really humorous. In fact, this might be a nice general-use unofficial part, come to (...) (15 years ago, 27-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
