Item suggestions for the 200x LEGO System Collection.

To whom it may concern: I was thoroughly disappointed by the lineup of building models made available for LEGO System in 1998 and 1999. Based on what I found out from other Lego fans on the Internet, The LEGO Group (TLG) released models with less (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  12v trains & track / 4.5v track

The two main sets consist of the train, track and engine driver only, i.e. no passengers, loads, platforms, road vehicles, etc. The speed regulators are available at no extra cost if required (240VAC @ 50/60Hz), but they will obviously increase (...)   LEGO Town Quiz - Clarification

I'll attempt to clarify a couple of the questions. 1) Which was the Widest town vehicle produced? - This set was released as a part of the TOWN range between 1978 - 1999. Therefore it IS minifig scale. 2) Apart from the color schemes what else is (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: Make your own Castle Minifig Ideas

A while back I designed some peasants using Star Wars elements. They're pretty inexpensive to make, and easy to individualize (wigs, cowls, etc)... Here is a snapshot of some of them: (URL) me know what you think... -- pn (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)
