Re: Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

(...) Generally speaking, this is the idea to which I object. Identifying with bad guys is bad. (...) Is Han really bad? Sure, he undermines the laws of an evil empire, but does that make him "bad"? Shouldn't we resist evil (bad)? (...) I can't (...) (17 years ago, 9-Jun-07, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

(...) And if I may intrude into this here, we have had some wonderful fiction on the telly lately in which what is considered to be 'the bad guy' in the 'tv show universe' is the person we most relate to. Loads of examples, but starting off with (...) (17 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Hey Brendan, Oops, your most recent installment (David and Saul) made me remember that I'd never commented on the Final Acts.   Won't someone please think of the dead people? (Was: Brickshelf back up)

(...) Okay, so we've got two weeks to scour Brickshelf for stuff we want to save...assuming we're around to do so. I can recall at least three AFOLs who have passed on, and I'm sure there are others. It'd be really cool if their photos could be (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: problem with the RCX

(...) Is the RCX still working? Does it "get hot" when it's running an unloaded motor? I would have thought that the 500 mA limit within the RCX case would prevent this, but perhaps it's marginal for some plastic piece "nearby". If the RCX is dead, (...) I had always thought that the ads such as Amazon.com or personal Lego sales such as is on Bricklink paid the cost of these sites like Lugnet and Peeron. Peeron asked for donations to speed up (...)
