  Cleaning 9V track

I recently unpacked some of my 9V track I had in storage and noticed that some of the track has little orange specks on it. It looked like rust. Has anyone ever seen this on their track? If so, how do I clean it and keep this from happening again? (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I'm certainly interested, and would be interested in used sets, after all, I play with my Lego, why pay a premium for MIB when I'll just open it up to leg godt. (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

(...) If by "MIB" you mean "Mint In Box," rest easy that none of the sets will be unopened. Many of them will be in brand-new condition, but all of them will have had the seals broken and the catalogs taken out (I try to get at least one copy of (...) Okee-Sure. ;-) Well, here are a couple more data points: - We just finalized a deal today with a local private collector who had a sizeable collection for sale -- all sets with boxes and in brand-new condition with very little (...) (...) Ok, I have a count now. If nothing disappears from the list before the auction goes up, there'll be 505 LEGO sets in the auction. I think that might qualify as the LEGO set auction of the century. :) --Todd (25 years ago, 8-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
