Re: The Brick Testament: The Philistines Have the Ark!

Hey Brendan, Great installments as always. My (belated) comments: Samuel is born - I like Elkanah's customizedite hairpiece quite a lot. In the second pic I'm a little creeped out by the two smallest kids, though - with all that tan around them they (...) (17 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey, Continuing on: Wealth - I like that shelf solution using clips. How is the screen attached on the computer? It looks like it's attached to a steering wheel piece. In the yard sale the block of books on the right looks a little odd, espeically (...) (18 years ago, 16-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey Brendan, Awesomeness! Love - I really like the Oval Office, with the flag, the first family, that kalashnikov, etc. Was that curtain design inspired by Shawn Sullivan? And then LOL - you don't get a lot of Hitler MOCs. On the Klan, I think it (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - More Teachings of Jesus

Hey Brendan, Dang you! Every time you post a new installment it makes me feel horrid over my own long-neglected projects. On Peace - Great implementation of the Lowell Sphere! On Family - How did you get Jesus' arms out like that? Did you cheat with (...) (18 years ago, 15-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - How Jesus of Nazareth Got Kissed, Got Crucified, and Came Back to Life

Yahoo! More BT! Last Supper - Hmm, it seems very similar to before, though the photography seems crisper. Is the old version still there for comparison (for some reason, the relevant folders on Brickshelf are all suppressed - I can't imagine any (...) Hey Brendan, Great to see new installments so soon. Canaanite Dogs - I like the building on the right in the first picture quite a lot. What's the bowl on the left in the second picture, by the way. It's nice to see a little bit of landscaping in (...) (18 years ago, 6-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

(...) Hey Brendan, Very cool. I've been away for a week and didn't get much chance to go on-line. I'm assuming the revamp is anticipation of another book? It's great to see you go back and redo some of these with all of the extra experience you've (...) (18 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey Brendan, Nice installment, but I have to admit there's not a lot of new ground here for me to comment on. Peaceful, unsuspecting people - Probably my favorite thing in this story is the use of focused and unfocused areas of the photos in 7, 27, (...) Hey Brendan, Great job as usual. Prostitute - Great face choice for the prostitute; that over-done eye shadow is perfectly slutty. Hey Rev, Awesome! I'd been wondering when the next installment would come. I like the new background, BTW. Izban, Elon, and Abdon - Hmm, not a lot here. Not sure why you chose to illustrate this. I never knew how much of a ladies' man Elon was. (...) (19 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey Brendan, How's this for turn-around? :) 69 Sons: The idol is really well done. I especially like the bug-eye things with the helmets. The floor idea with the turntable halves is also very nice. In 9:3-4 are those chrome silver coins? If so, (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey Brendan, Great work as usual. God Uses Midianites to Oppress Israel - The coolest pic in this story is the second one. Hey Brendan, Great as always. Bethel: In 1:25 I really like the steps going down. Your MOCs usually start on a baseplate and go up, so it's nice to have one with depth. In the last pic, it's nice that the baby also follows the Bethel color scheme. (...) (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)
