Re: LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - MATRIX section updated

(...) Yes, the matrix is still homogeneous. In fact this page contains a nifty explanation of how what we normally think of as a translation matrix is actually a shear matrix where the extra w dimension added to make things homogeneous is the fixed (...) (17 years ago, 11-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New Poll

(...) This reminds me of the legend of the current standard gauge, - that it was passed down from Roman times because that's what their chariot wheel widths were. Well, in the case of Lego where did our gauge come from? Where did 9V gauge come from? (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

RE: pbLua Beta 13c Team Hassenplug NXT Software Comparison Results

(...) These numbers are quite good. pbLUA is fast. Walt: thanks for doing the analysis. Now that NXT-G 1.1 is out, I wonder how fast it runs. Faster execution performance was one of the features in this release. Perhaps someone can do this (...) (17 years ago, 30-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  School supplies?

No LEGO in the Superstore of Canadian Tire flyers this week. The TRU flyer only has full TRU price LEGO mentioned. ---- The Walmart flyer (Thurs 20 through Wed 26) doesn't have any LEGO building sets mentioned. They do have some LEGO branded school (...)   Re: Packing MOCs for Shipment - Suggestions?

(...) I've found that wrapping MOC's in Saran wrap first helps keep all your MOC's together. I learned the hard way that saving a dollar and getting the no-brand stuff--makes you wish you had spent that dollar. A more effort was spent using the (...)   New iPaB Wall View on BrickBuildr

I was so excited when I first released (URL) iPaB>. When I told my LUG-mates about it, their only criticism (in jest) was "you should make a wall view where you can see everything on one page." Grrr... I thought. So for those of you who don't like (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce, FTX) !

(...) I'll make sure to gather that info when I'm there. I'll be going to the store in the Northbrook Mall, the Woodfield store in Schaumburg and possibly the new Discovery Center close to the Woodfield Mall. (...) Is there a method to adding a LEGO store to the list? I will be going to a couple of the LEGO stores in Chicago in about a month and would be willing to gather the contents of their P.A.B. walls...as well as a list of what's in them. ;-) I (...)
