  SAH Summer Catalog Highlights

Hey all, Bear with me if my descriptions are kinda fuzzy, but someone backed into my car today and really did a number on the front end! I'm ok, but my poor baby!!   Re: King Arthur Library Display

(...) Very nice work. I really like how you separated it all into scenes. And that castle wall as the backdrop for the whole thing is great. There are tons of details I like; the sword in the stone being slanted, the trees, the ruined wall, the way (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Train Layout Modules

After some intensive building over the last 2 weeks I have completed 20 modules of a new 8mm scale British railway layout to a reasonable standard. The layout features track slopes of up to 1 in 30, varying by 0.5 plate/12 stud length. All the (...) Still ticking... The Flying Octopus Clock Hello, Well It has been on my wall since last march. Besides the times I was away from home for work or vacation I have kept it running.   Re: Hypothetical design question

(...) That's essentially correct. Two cars hitting each other head-on at 30MPH is effectively the same as one car hitting a stationary vehicle at 60MPH.
