  A few questions

Hi all, I'm about to build a few handyboards, and I have a few questions. 1. I don't have convenient access to an o'scope so I'm hoping to get by without one. I am in the market for a new DMM (my birthday's coming up :->), and I've located one that (...) (27 years ago, 29-May-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Stoneguard Hold

(...) Well done. Your castle has a really great look and feel to it, and your attention to detail is fantastic. I'm not really a fan of the curved walls, but it's nothing you've done. I'm just not a fan of the 1x2 and 1x1 round brick combination, it (...) (18 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Stoneguard Hold

Sweeeet! The corner curved towers are what jump out at you, but the inner curved wall with the matching curved building atop is just brilliant. Lots of great details here, with the partially-submerged fin and the trail of blood in the water being my (...) (18 years ago, 27-Oct-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Sensor Basics

Robots depend upon sensors to give them information about the "real world." These sensors detect a value, convert it to a measureable form, and scale its range. A Phototransistor, for example, converts light intensity into fluctuations of electrical (...) (27 years ago, 13-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I'm not sure if anyone else has built Bricksmith from the (URL) source code>, but if so you may be interested in this. I've written two small patches that provide some minor features I find useful.   Re: The Brick Testament - More Teachings of Jesus

(...) You have now many times asserted that there can be no rational explanations for the origin of the universe, but mere repeated assertion has done nothing to convince me (or others who have chimed in) you're right about this. Even if we suppose (...) (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) Speaking for The Netherlands (but I think this could be representative for a large part of Europe), all fences around building yards and so were made of wood up util deep into the sixtees. In my childhood memory, these fences were assembled (...) (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

Hi. I can't come up with so much specific points to comment on except what has already been mentioned by others. I would just like to say that the stories seem to be up to your usual high standard and that I'm following the new stories with (...) (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

(...) Interesting... that sounds like a total suicide strategy to me. I mean, that would have taken hours or days, the soldiers having their hands occupied by shovels instead of weapons all the while being bombarded by enemy fire in the complete (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

(...) Thanks, Martin. (...) That's great. I kind of do consider these King Saul and King David stories to be "the good stuff" in that they are exciting stories, full of intrigue and surprises.   Re: BOW, A new brick wargame

(...) I think this is an absolutely fantastic idea! I love the concept, plus the idea that it's more statistically balanced. For instance, a normal 1d20 will do something "somewhere" between 1 and 20, but the odds of a 1 are just as likely as a 14 (...) (18 years ago, 21-Nov-06, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)
