Re: New colors and other info

Jake, Thank you for the quick reply. I am glad to hear about the studs issue, not so glad to hear about the color changes, but I'm sure you've heard much on this issue. One question--are current bulk parts at S@H in the "old" grays or the "new" (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Rumored Castle sets now a nightmare.

(...) William, I think that all of this worrying is not good. I highly doubt that LEGO would replace one of its great themes with Bionicle. It is probably just a new type of Bionicle set. Bionicle will not replace Castle, Town, etc. I think it is a (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Spare parts - or - Harry Parter part duex (was: Castle Nightmare)

(...) But that's the real kicker of it all, isn't it?. LEGO Castle is what it is because we make it what it is. LEGO Castle is the fan's theme. LEGO only supplies the bricks. It's the same with space, with town, with trains, with all the known (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

How does the "recharge" work in the new racers multi-challenge race track work (8364)

I was looking at the new LEGO catalog and it discusses a large new racers set (8364) called the multi-challenge race track. It appears to have "recharge" stations that charge up the cars for additional race time. It says that the set required 4 AA (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

I have a feeling this will end up the same as 8431 Crane Truck did and be an exclusive at GB/Myer, maybe TRU. So, since I never get GB/Myer catalogs, if it turns out they do have it at 1/2 price (or thereabouts) for Christmas sales, the first person (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Thanks - A lot of people bad-mouth the Insectoid sets (I assume this is what you mean by the "Queen's" ship), but I have always found them to be a fabulous supply of industrial-looking parts (as well as several cool trans-dark-green elements). (21 years ago, 23-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)
