  Re: Feature Requests for Brickshelf

Actually, that one I could use as well. I started creating my train station as a top-level folder, but now its part of a city, so I want to move it under the city folder, but can't.   Feature Requests for Brickshelf

Brickshelf is a fantastic tool to LEGO builders. It is fast, reliable, and easy to use. Furthermore, it automatically supports thumbnails and hierarchical directories (stuff that is a bit tedious to do manually). I've begun to use Brickshelf more (...)   Re: Monorail/Train Transit Terminal

I noticed that a portion of the sticker was off the piece, so I tried to gently pull that part up. Luckily, it came right up without any damage whatsoever. Even better, it left almost all of the discoloration and dirt on the brick rather than the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Ah - I see that you are right. Unfortunately, I bought this set from someone else, who bought it from yet another person. It was that third person that applied the sticker impromperly. I'm afraid to change it now given that its almost 10 years old! (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: Off Topic - Digital camera !

I couldn't find either of those on Olympus' web site and I've not seen them in the stores either. I have an Olympus D490 and I find it excellent for LEGO pictures. A key feature is a "macro" focus mode. This allows you to take really clear pictures (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

It looks great Brian, but I wish we could have gotten better pics. These were prints that we re-shot with my digital camera. Although the camera is great at shooting the original subjects, we really need a scanner for these older non-digital shots. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Droid Escape parts useful for Castle

BRASSO is brass polish. That is the brand name. My bottle says it's made in Canada. This product is ideal for removing decals without damaging the bricks.   Re: Is there a way to reduce/repair scratches in clear parts?

I picked some of this up and it worked great! It is a bit pricey. It comes in 3 "flavors." - One for fixtures, one for metal, and another for fiberglass/plastic. They only had the plastic version in a large, 250ml can for about $10. It was easily (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
