  I'm going through Brickbay withdrawl!

I find myself constantly wanting to check Brickbay, but I can't get to it (see previous posts about this issue). I keep feeling like I'm missing out on some cool parts that I just can't get to. I keep wanting my Brickbay fix, but I just can't get (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: RCX on beyond 2000 (old show??)

Beyond 2000 was on the Discovery Channel here in the US for quite some time, but I think its been a year or two since I've seen an episode. Ross Crawford <rcrawford@csi.com> wrote in message news:GD6owr.IJL@lugnet.com... (...) Beyond (...) there (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: 10001 Changes (was: Re: August Surprise...)

I have this vague memory of someone telling me that Brad told them that he pointed out that on the box pic that the change was somewhere around where the schedule piece is. I don't where I heard this or maybe I dreamed it up. I havn't consulted the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Elevated Subway pix

That looks really great! I can't think of any obvious ideas for improvement off the top of my head. The station looks a little plain, but any ideas I might have for dressing things up would probably make it look less realistic. If you wanted more (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.town)

As far as I know, Dave is not on-line. I'm not able to contact him. Somehow, he gets word of the LUGNET meetings. James Brown <galliard@shades-of-night.com> wrote in message news:GD2tJC.83D@lugnet.com... (...) order (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.people)

Re: 10001 Changes (was: Re: August Surprise...)

There was much discussion between myself and those sitting around me about the possible changes made to the metroliner. The important debate centered around wether Brad had said there were "minor detail" or "minor decal" changes. It was never (...) Yes, Brad said that these sets will be S@H exclusives in North America and Europe, with the exception of Germany, where they will bw available in some retail stores. (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Another Legend dies....

(...) However Brad made it quite clear: "on 7 of 8 calls we listened to, you can hear the kid in the background directing the parent". Those sales are FOR kids, no matter whose money is being spent. While I question the 7 of 8 calls (Mike pointed (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Ok, I've put my new wants up there (and remove the things I've gotten (Yea!!)). I would be really good if LUGNET as a whole could make a push to get everyones wants up there so Brad has something to work with. Actually, I'm pretty excited to (...)   Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?

(...) Brad said the prohibition lasts at least through the next two movies. We really can't complain because the SW line is incredible, and likely better than what would take it's place. The only thing I wish they would do is bring back more (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Something Brad talked about that I haven't seen mention of is that he wants to head towards more customization of sets. I don't think My Own Train will be the last color customizeable set. He also mentioned things "Chinese family dinners" (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

Are the reissue sets Shop-at-home exclusives ?

Some of the re-issued sets do not have the 10000-series set numbers. Are these sets (e.g. Red Beard Runner) going to be Shop-At-Home exclusives ? This would make the most sense, especially if Brad said "we will make X packs of 3445, Y of 3498, Z of 3496, and A of 5151, and when they're sold out, that's it until we mold the next color.
