Re: Is Brickshelf slow for anyone else lately?

(...) A few ideas to ignore... 1) If folks would use their brickshelf accounts as if they were paying for them there'd be a lot less bandwidth used. Limits to image and folder sizes have been suggested before. Other bandwidth-limiting features might (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Please use javascript sparingly. As far as I can tell it's used on these pages to assemble frames, which is unnecessary. Some people surf with JS turned off, because it's the medium through which much advertising, including pop-ups, is (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) If this is the case, or if it's intended for children, they may not be able to credit your site. You've done a great job on the sets and I'm quite impressed with the effort you've made to be true to the Bible as you understand it, but your (...)   Re: Proposal: TOWN building contest

(...) I think your categories are too small. As someone stated, 1000 pieces makes only a medium-sized model. The organ in my church might use more than that. I still like subjective size categories. The contest guidelines may quantify what is a (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Proposal: a TOWN building contest!

(...) Poor timing for me since in your time frame my church will use up most of my pieces. I intend to enter it, though, in the obscene-number-of-pieces category :-) (...) Consistency would be great. I vote for minifig. (...) Keep the number of (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Top 1000 noisemakers

(...) As a matter of fact I myself thought I'd be a good rocket (went from two posts to 21st place) and before I fell asleep last nigth I thought it would be cool to make a list with the biggest rockets from 2002. So I made that. Due to the fact I (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.people, lugnet.admin.nntp)

  2002 Rocket list!

Hi all! I've made a list of the 2002 rockets, that is, the people that increased their posting the most. I used Dan's list of how many posts each person did in 2001 & 2002 and calculated the difference. To keep this post a little shorter (and my (...)   Church update - UPS breaks our windows

(...) UPS delivered the package rather than sending it back. The box is crushed, and torn on three seams, but the contents seem to be intact. In all fairness to UPS this package was poorly packed. 3000 windows is sure a pretty sight :-) Amy (25 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.arch)
