Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

Didier...I don't have much to add, but wanted to let you know how cool this technique is. I'm planning on using it for some kind of gate or grill, as you suggested, in an upcoming dio. Nice work. -Keith (18 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Joe, congrats on taking BrickJournal to a new level. I signed up for my subsription today, and I know of at least two other credit-whores who are about too do the same. You rock. -Keith (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

All pantheons are invited to gaze with wonder upon the premier strategic weapon of the Iron Reich. Absolutely no scribes will be permitted. Please send me some feedback, lay the smack down! www.brickshelf.com/c...gi?f=23587 Thank you, Keith (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Assistance

Hi Pedro, Maybe you can post your MLCad file on Brickshelf or somewhere and let us see it? It's hard to know how awkward a liftarm you need without seeing your design. Add a "work in progress, feedback requested" note if you want. Keith "Pedro (...) (21 years ago, 13-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Ahhh...you know the riddle of steel, don't you boy. What can I say, you've saved the best robriq for the Reich...and the State appreciates your sacrifice. Seriously, this moc rocks beyond belief. The leg design is truly inspired. -Keith (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I recant my previous smack-testimony, it even looks good from the front in those low-angle shots. The interiors are brilliant, probably my favorite thing about the ship. (...) Hey Nelson, I think all of these are interesting, but I think the Misc/Art one is my favorite. The boxing vignette made me thing of Raging Bull, I wonder if you could make a black and white version. Anyway, great job. -Keith (...)   Re: Announcing the great Asteroid MOC Contest!

(...) What's wrong with you Rubin? I'm going to pretend you didn't really suggest this one. Great contest idea though, and I think it would make for a great group display and a better setting for ships at a con. -Keith (19 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Phantom.dll (Spirit.ocx replacement) Update.

I have updated the Phantom.dll component due to a minor bug. The bug involved the DataLog functions not working when used with VB.Net. Both updated source and binaries are available at: (URL) Jacquemin kjacquemin@cox.net (22 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: SeaHorse Work Sub and - Holy ABS Plastic!

Good work, boy wonder. The SeaHorse rocks, very nice attention to detail. Are there any weapons? I understand its primarily a search and rescue ship, but you never know when you might encounter a mecha-squid or aquatic undead. -Keith (22 years ago, 25-Jan-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: Station 39

(...) Travis, thanks for the kind words. The technic pin is just friction attached over the small nub on the binos. Not all pins work, and it is a bit fragile, but the connection is legit, without glue or any non-lego alteration. Thanks again, Keith (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Nice work Bruce. I must have stared at the mid-section for 5 minutes. Great detailing. I also liked the cockpit interior. You have accomplished in what my humble opinion is the hardest thing about spaceship design, a unique shape. Very well done. (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) You want this: [LEGOSet 3748] (a bit expensive) Available from S@H or Bricklink. The bulb and lens also available separately from Bricklink, I think. I too want to get a couple for use as headlights in my Technic cars. Keith (20 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
