| | Re: Two New GBC Modules..
|
| I built it last night. My earlier problem was in trying to use 4-stud axles to hold the pulleys in their offset position -- this is hard to describe, but the gist of it is the axles sometimes got in the way of other pulleys and warped their (...) (17 years ago, 15-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

| Your train is incredible -- it doesn't stop for loading or unloading. That makes it fast -- the fastest GBC train ever built. I also like the rocker, which is something I've wanted to try building but never got around to. Your entire layout is (...) (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

| | Re: Serenity, an autonomous NXT-based boat
|
| The City Harbor boat hull is plenty big to hold an RCX or an NXT. It could hold three of them end to end, actually. There are studs on the bottom of the hold and along the top, so you could build a cage for an NXT or just stick the RCX directly onto (...) (17 years ago, 19-Sep-07, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

| I also noticed that clutch gear was rubbing on the beam, but I found that the radial pattern wasn't as bad as the text side. I just pushed it a tiny bit away from the beam and it seems to be working fine. The only mod I've made so far was switching (...) (17 years ago, 29-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic)

| I think a Star Wars version of (URL) 3723 LEGO Mini-Figure> (retail price $150) would be perfect. A few years ago (URL) LEGO auctioned a similar statue of Jango Fett>. I don't think you could choose just one character who epitomizes Star Wars, so (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

If you actually built a LEGO town using only the sets released in the last few years, you would have to wonder why the town is in so much constant danger that it requires so many police stations, fire houses, (...) | (...) This is a big reason that LEGO has always had a hard time marketing to girls. LEGO town/city has always been too action-oriented, and that simply doesn't appeal to girls . . . at least not to the extent that action appeals to boys. Sets that (...) |
| I don't think LUGNET has had any discussions about this in quite some time. How do -you- clean your LEGO parts? I'm interested in learning people's techniques, particularly ones that clean a lot of parts at once with little effort. LEGO that's been (...)
