  Re: More train service packs?

(...) there were a lot of train service packs available at Toy retailers. They would have them either hanging from stands, or in a big box underneath the LEGO displays. Back in the 80's and early 90's, I purchased a lot of specialty pieces (fences, (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Scott, any resemblence of my house to a warehouse are purely coincidental. But if you mean my LEGO room, yes, it does look like a warehouse. Partly because I am about 2 years behind in sorting. Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 27-May-99, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Well the AS (AucZILLA Standard) gets a little skewed on occasion. I, myself am a good reason why. I've been on a buying spree lately, and wasn't going to participate in Auczilla X, except for the fact that I had a balance from previous Auczilla's. (...)   LEGO and Martian Manhunter....

Many people have discussed the corrosive effects of time on history. And this is so true about LEGO. So much of what has happened in the past about LEGO has unfortunately not been well documented, even by the LEGO Archives in Billund. However, this (...)   The History of Building Movie Palaces.

Last week I met some of my fellow Michigan AFOLs in Ann Arbor for lunch, and brought along an incomplete Theater building (Movie Palace) that I was building. They really like my Notched Arch Art Deco design. This was one of 2 Movie Palaces I am in (...) (25 years ago, 27-May-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks Jeff. That 7740 Intercity Train is also the one that has those rare grey 2x2 windows. You're right about the blue corner slopes. It's a Ninja (I knew it was a 1999 set) set that has them. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 3-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)

  New Low Sloped Roof Pieces.
