has anyone thought of an advantage to using two light sensors in the basic photo scanner robot that people have built. Since I am currently working on line following, I did some tests with the Lego active light sensor. I mounted one on a small test cart pointing down a bit more than 1/8 inch above the "ground". The area of trademark law is a bit fluffy (short on hard and fast rules). Can someone give me a good estimate on the tire size on these wheels? I know they dont have a size stamped on the sidewalls (Do those tires even HAVE sidewalls? :) ) If you could measure one for me I would appreciate it... Metrically if possible (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Hi Pete, I agree that the short sight is a problem. In my tests, I used wide strips. Three times as wide as the RCX. And they were no more than a foot apart.
