  Re: 6923 instruction oddities

(...) Except for the instruction part number (see my original), yes. (In other words the steps are identical.). Interestingly, the version of 6923 on the 6710 (baseplate) packaging also has the hinge: -> (URL) a bit tricky to see from here. I might (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Droid Developer Kit worthwhile?

(...) The DDK is very disappointing. In my mind it marks a low-point in LEGO's consumer understanding - and the "Mindstorms" branding. The expansion sets were over-priced and under-delivered on their (our) expectations for the RIS, but the DDK is (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.microscout)

  Re: rotation sensor mystery solved?

(...) I tried hacking something like this into the old rotation sensor code, and it didn't go real smoothly, but is definitely a necessity (I think) if you want the sensor to handle very, very high speed apps.   Re: rotation sensor mystery solved?

(...) What exactly do you intend here, Martin? I spent quite some time working on this over the summer and in the fall, and had a great deal of problems but also some success. I'd be happy to help you out with my experiences if you have some idea (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Pantograph powered LEGO trains?

Those of you that don't know... Brian is a "stealth" member of GMLTC, he doesn't live in the Twins any more but still comes out for shows. While he is from the "paint and stickers are OK" school of modeling, which I don't normally hold truck with, (...)   Re: 9736 Exploration Mars

Hi. How is this stuff different from the Red Rover kit on page 14-15 of the 2000 Pitsco Catalogue or page 62 of the 1999 Catalogue. It is NOT inexpensive. It costs $379.00. I've finally added some photos of my first large scale MOC to my website. (URL) let me know what you think about the vehicle design or the site layout. I'm always looking to make improvements. -Duane (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)
