  Re: Miscellaneous thoughts...

(...) Yeah. I paid $20 for one of those guys just a few weeks before the first scans of the 2000 catalog came out. (grumble) I still use my "Chess King" as the king for my Crusaders/Royal Knights faction, though, because he does have a *semblance* (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: free-for-all in space

(...) be (...) Why not have everything blanketed in energy weapons? IMO, no space empire can get too military oriented; the more, the better [bet the enemy wouldn't expect a turbolaser-caked freighter, especially if half its cargo is fighters]. The (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Castle Minifig Races

(...) I had a similar idea when I saw those wonderful trans-blue spears that will be coming out soon. Does anyone either (1) have a tutorial or (2) have time to write something out on how to make ldraw parts? I would like to learn. I have been using ldraw for many years, since i was eight or nine if it's been around that long. If anyone could do so, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: OO programing in RCX

(...) OO works very well for things like a parse tree. I can add a new statement and just add its rules for semantic checking and code generation...all within its own class. I think part of the problem is that compiler design is a very heavily (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
