  Junk Box #1

Hi, I receive Junk Box #1 from A.J. Findley yesterday, took only 1 piece and throw away some broken really unusable part. put in some old stuff but still in good condition, will put more during week-end before sending it to the next one. I don't (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: 2 Motors -> 1 axle

Will your design work using shorter axles and a bunch of the "axle connector" pieces? That should keep the axle train from flexing too much. --Doug Wilcox (URL) Message----- From: Dave Johnson <djohnson@sirius.com> To: lego-robotics@crynwr.com (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Video image analisys

Hi Marco, I haven't done any vision processing yet, but plan to get into it sometime this summer. In the meantime, I've been casually scanning the web for related sites. Here's one you may find useful: (URL) Leeper (hopes this helps) (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  2 Motors -> 1 axle

After the good suggestions from folks (see the Balancing Bots thread) I did some experiments with using 2 motors to drive one axle (to double the power to the axle) and thought the results might be of interest to others. I first tried having the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: RF Connection To RCX

Eric, this was the approach I was thinking of. This way all the 'regular' functions, software, RcxCC etc would continue to work. Limitations: Speed is the same.. Other approaches would require deep hacking, I believe. I envisioned two devices: 1. (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Very high-detail scans of the SW Collector's series sets

(...) Even if a UCS MF was smaller scale, cost $100.00~$150.00, with the appropriate number of pieces, it would still be way cool. Steve (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Very high-detail scans of the SW Collector's series sets

(...) Doh! I saw that after posting my reply to you. Those will be nice to get. Those pieces cause me to assume the lasers will be attached with technic pegs. Other than the canopy, I still have not found any completely new pieces on this model. But (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What color gems exist?

(...) Yes, this was listed in a S@H catalog from last year. I give it 99% probability it still is available. I don't have the catalog handy, but I believe the set was identified as a "Belville Accessory Pack". S@H has carried other BAPs in the past, (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: pnumatic storage pressure

There shouldn't be any difference with static pressure, but paralell tubing would allow greater air flow up to the point that you restrict it back to one tube. KL (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)
