  Re: Swearing?

Great post, Laura. Wasted, no doubt, on the target audience, unfortunately. I would be willing to bet that in my entire writing here on Lugnet, I've never once (I could be wrong, though) used a word that would be considered a swear word. Yet who (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Conan is an electrician. I don't think he's 30 yet but he is very good at his craft and on most jobs, he leads a crew.   Simply the best!

This guy's stuff is by far the best I've ever seen. His attention to detail in recreating not only the figures and vehicles, but also the actual shots in the films, is superb! I nominate it for Cool Lego Site of the Year! Dave (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.jp)

  Lego box mixup

While participating in 'the great Target Gold Rush of '00' today, I noticed something odd. I scanned a copy of Rig Racers and the scan machine spit out the price and told me it was a 'Blaze Responder'. On checking the box, I found the UPC bar-code (...)   How do I control the RCX display?

I have a MindStorms project idea that requires the robot to "display" something, rather than run a motor. An alphanumeric displaying words would be awesome, but a two digit number would work. Looking at NQC manual, I found: SelectDisplay() (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I'm figuring it out too. As near as I can tell, we get a big point-to-point chain list together of a bunch of people interested in the box, and then we send it off.
