You are in luck!  I just happened to be there today!

The address is:

800 HIGHWAY 400, Suite 1050
Dawsonville, GA 30534

Phone: (706) 216-2800

It's in the North Georgia Outlet Mall.

Bad News: According to Yahoo Maps, it's going to take you about an hour • (one
way) to get there.  It took me about 35-40 min (Avg Speed: 70 MPH) to get • there
today from Dunwoody (closer), so that sounds about right.

Good News: They have some good stuff right now.

Hope this isn't a day late for you!

Well, I did indeed make it to the LEGO Outlet in Dawsonville today.  Since I
was in Duluth I asked one of my co-workers who lives in Atlanta to get me to
Hwy. 400.  I misunderstood the directions I got from one of my co-workers
and went waaaaaaay out of my way so it took me a while to find it.  By the
time I got there it was already past the time I had set for a drop dead
departure back to the airport.  But, I had to look around.  I am sure I
missed a few things, if I was in the store for more than 10 minutes I'd be
surprised.  They had eight (8) sets of 6318 Fences and Trees so I bought all
of them as well as a few other odds and ends - nothing I'd consider FOTW
material.  Had to pick up a couple more 6550 Outback Racers because it is
one of my and my son's favorite sets.

Other things I noticed:

4559 ($105), 6278, 6281, 5542 ($33), 5533 ($51 - yikes), and some neat
non-brick stuff.  I limited my non-brick purchases to a couple of coloring
books.

I can now see that I will need to visit our customers in Atlanta more
frequently than I have been!

My trip back to the airport was an adventure - Atlanta traffic is thick.  I
can't think of any place here in the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel
Hill) that has traffic like I saw today in Atlanta.  Anyway, I was the last
person on the plane, made it with about a minute to spare.  One of these
days I am going to miss a flight and it will probably be due to the fact
that I was shopping for LEGO.

Glad you scored! I too noticed the Pirates and Islanders stuff, but I'm not really in to those series, so I passed. My big score yesterday was mainly technic, plus I picked up the last 5561 they had for $60. I had been coveting this set for a while, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
