  TOYSRUS.com Order Finally Arrived

To All, Well, I finally got my order from TRU.com last night, after ordering it on November 22nd. I can't complain too much, since I got 100.00 worth of free LEGO! After all my bad experiences with TRU, I seriously doubt I will be doing my LEGO or (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: What all has TLC done?

(...) but (...) Nonetheless, no one's happy that Space is cancelled. And, even if they created it in the first place, that knowledge still doesn't make anyone happier. They create Lego System Space, and, over the course of the next 20 years, slowly (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: I Felt Insulted!

(...) Desecration of the Lego logo is probably against the Fair Play statement, huh. :) (...) Psh. He just doesn't know. The most important thing is: I hope you're using NQC (or LegOS or at least RoboLab) in your class! (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: awfully quiet here.

  I Felt Insulted!

Today was the first class of a course that used the Lego RIS. And my teacher made two comments that insulted me greatly (you guys will feel the same!): 1) Each group has their own kit. Each kit is labelled with A, B, etc. corresponding to each (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Scale?

(...) Huh? That question is a little vague. I'll try to be more specific. Lay a minifig down on its back. You will see that it's five studs high. An average adult human is about 1.7 meters (or 5 feet, 7 inches) tall. Divide 1.7 meters by 5 studs, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: NQC wishlist

(...) IMho, the best thing which could be made is a firmware replacement, backward compatible with standard bytecodes (and thus with nqc) with all the new features needed being added as new bytecodes... But who will do that? :-) Phil (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Newbie's questions

(...) Annual (Primo) pass holders get a 10% discount on 4 restaurants and "merchandise" which specifically excludes LEGO sets. OTOH, they sent us "locals" a 20% discount good for one purchase (which we used on a bunch of sets) that we used on (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
