Terry, I use acetone for gluing. I put a piece of blotter paper in a small metal container, and add just enough MEK or acetone to make it very wet. While working on the barcode scanner I decided to see just how fast the RCX could loop. A simple NQC program can do about 1000 counter loop iterations in about 100 ticks, or 1 iteration/ms. Actually, there is a Chinese company that sells rip-offs of some of the smaller sets here in dollar stores in Canada. The boxes look enough like Lego to fool you, but the pieces themselves look to be of much poorer quality when you take them out. -- (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)
