Re: What would a lego stormtrooper be?

(...) I'd vote for white with black printing, now that TLG has shown they're willing to print on the waistline. (...) The legs would optimally have some printing. (...) Same here. Printed arms and hands are just too much to hope for. (...) I can (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Conversation at TRU overheard

(...) That is disgusting! I let my son pick what he wants, and I help him build (at his request--honest!). Age never comes into question, except that we may have to save some of my older sets for later, due to difficulty. At least introduce it and (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Legosub Remote Controlled underwater robot

I browsed around some more, and it appears that they say that we will be able to control the legosub for ourselves, from our computer, soon. I don´t know if that´s true. I have some difficulty with understanding what it all is about, I mean a lego (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Subgroups? (was: Re: Hey!)

(...) I don't see any anywhere. I use "subscribe" on my newsreader, and get only lugnet.space--the other theme groups also don't show any "subgroups". FWIW (two cents, see below), I think subdividing .space at this point is really counterproductive. (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Legosub Remote Controlled underwater robot

Yeah, that´s awesome!! Did you go to (URL) as well? There are some more photos there. And... It appears that the sub is controlled with a Nintendo 64 controller! I always knew that combining LEGO and nintendo would make some good stuff :-) --Tobias (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Has anyone accessed "Lego on my mind" lately?

I haven't been able to access my bookmark for that page for three days now. -- Paul Davidson (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Conversation at TRU overheard

I'm sure glad my parents didn't pick my toys that way -- I was thoroughly hooked on town system Lego at age 4, space followed soon afterwards (and castle when it came out a bit later). -- Paul Davidson Mookie <Mookie1@worldnet.att.net> wrote in (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Pneumatic tube sources

I found an alternative source for tubing and T's at my local R/C hobby shop here in Milwaukee. The silicone fuel hose used for R/C airplanes is the perfect wall thickness and diameter for the pneumatic fittings. The hose is about $.75 a foot and the (...)   Re: Building a Mini-fig Army, how much to pay

Pawel Nazarewicz has some nice pictures of his armies here, I believe: (URL) armies on eBay can probably be done for a lot cheaper than $3 per figure if you have some patience and place a maximum bid on any lot which suits your needs. You may only (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: USB->Serial converters and IR Tower

(...) Yes, I have had allmost exactly the same combination working fine. I have the 'combi' USB box (serial/parallel port), and the smallest VAIO, and used this to take some software up to my niece over christmas, with no problems. There are some (...)
