Re: Calling for Box Status and New Rule to vote on

(...) Probably not a solution for all the boxes (maybe a couple of them?) but how about a dynamic list rather than a static one. Rather than sending the box to whoever first expressed interest 6 months ago, send it to whoever replies first to a post (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya, lugnet.general)

(...) Nope, it's not. :) There were 150 of those in AucZILLA VI. But 40 is still a lot![1] --Todd [1] Uhm, no pun intended. ;-) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: AND gate brick?

Hi Andy. Your drawing works just fine for ONE gate. Now imagine a 135 x 44 piece of paper covered with 50 or more of the things. Folks didn't come up with the special symbols in order to make things harder. Imagine trying to do arithmetic if you (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Pneumatics problems

I have a 8462 tow truck and the pneumatic system functions fine. I wanted to build pneumatics into a MOC and had some various old pieces of pneumatics lying around that I had picked up in sales. I had never used them before. I did not want to take (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New sensors from Pitsco-Dacta

Hi. The "new" Lego Sensors are rather obviously not intended for building mobile Robots. Rather, they are part of the ROBOLAB INVESTIGATOR system which was just released in the Pitsco 2000 catalogue. The idea is to build a miniature computerized (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: How old are you?

Hi. How old is your son? He can probably deal with Robolab Software (PC & MAC) available from Pitsco. Pitsco also sells a Robolab upgrade kit which gives you the Robolab user manual and a nifty green case. (I got case feaver and went out and bought (...)   Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

(...) The reason you don't see slaves in the pirate theme is that slaves really aren't part of the romanticized pirate genre. This is also the reason I doubt we will see a Civil War theme, or any other real war theme. They haven't been romanticized. (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.western)

  FA: $4000!!! (Tiles)

I just posted 40 crispy $100 green 1x2 tiles. At $4000 worth of tiles, it might be the single largest amount of LEGO ever offered, unless it isn't;-) One catch-- the auction says it's closed, yet I just posted it. Should work. Good luck! -John (URL) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Hey, thats a nice feature!

Hey, all! I just discovered a new thing about Leocad. You can save and load Ldraw .dat files! Very, very useful to me, as I used to use Leocad and switched to MLCad after it came out, and I didn't know I could save my Leocad models. Anyway, you all (...)   Re: Toysrus.com 100.00 Arrived

TRU got to my complaint today. They cancelled the order, refunded my CC, and gave me a $50 online gift certificate. Not too bad, but, now I don't have 900 pieces of Lego. (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Can't open serial port in Linux

Hi. I just got through fixing a similar problem with my linux box (the fix involved a lot of tedious changing IRQ's in the BIOS, with a lot of tedious rebooting in between).
