I'm new here. I got RIS 1.0 for Christmas completely by surprise. I want to know if I can use my IBM Thinkpad 380D IR port to communicate with the RCX. I am using the serial port with a graphics tablet and would prefer not to lug around an (...) (25 years ago, 27-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Only tangentially related, I built a minature golf hole a while back... No mindstorms but it did have a motorized windmill and used an insectoids stinger to signal what score you got. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
