I'm new here. I got RIS 1.0 for Christmas completely by surprise.
I want to know if I can use my IBM Thinkpad 380D IR port to communicate
with the RCX. I am using the serial port with a graphics tablet and
would prefer not to lug around an unnecessary cables or IR transmitters
since I travel occasionally.
How do I set up my software and hardware to use the built-in IR port (if
possible)? Would it work to use my parallel port instead?
