I just received the Lego Mindstorms RIS v1.5 as an early Christmas present, but the RCX unit itself says "1.0" on it. Do all of them say this? It doesn't have the AC adapter plug anywhere, and the serial number is 371372 so I'm pretty sure it's a (...) (25 years ago, 24-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Tom, I just quickly browsed your page on garage doors. I don't know if you want to list them, but there are several sets with the 1x14 bricks with garage door track (at least one such set is 6376 Breezeway Cafe). Well it depends on how you do it. If you are going to use the trig calculations, then you need LegOs. If you are just converting the rotation sensor pulses to a measurement, then you should be able to get away with integers, if you adjust the (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
