  Re: AFOL

Hmmm.... Aren't teenagers and adolescents one and the same? Anyway, the reason the term AFOL exists is because if one were (at least among the general population) to say that someone is a fan of Lego, it would be assumed that the fan is not an (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: First Lego League Software (fwd)

Hi. If you are seriously considering using other processors, then this unit is far from being the only possibility. (...) 1) The Stamp microprocessors directly support programming in BASIC. Stamps are widely used in the Sumo Robot community. 2) The (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) That's the canonical cannon joke, so don't anyone else tell it here please. As to liking disliking South Park, I'm too old or too smart to like it, not sure which.   Re: Experimenting with Brasso (tm)

Is this something that one could mechanise? Ala a buffing wheel or the like. Purely hypotehtical question for me, the thought of actually removing printing (even happy meal printing) makes me blanch, Blanche! (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk Pieces suggestions

Well, despite having just posted that I think we should wait to see what they're looking for, I have to point out that no list is complete without the canonical trainhead wishlist... 1x2x3 windows and their glass... with the train style divider (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Another great missive. Here's my comment. So far we've been all over the map on feedback. No topic is off bounds because, finally, someone actually popped up and said "yes, we want to listen". But too much of a muchness is too much(1)! So to help (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Brad- From your latest post I take it that you are soliciting advice as to which bricks should be offered in bulk.   Re: Mindstorms spirit.ocx programming = RCX ASM coding?

(...) My biggest gripe about spirit is that it is only available for Win32. If it had also been available on Mac and Linux I would've layered NQC on top of it and never had to create a non "LEGO sanctioned" interface to the RCX. Actually, TLG now (...)
