Re: Geez! LUGNET is just too exciting!

(...) Unfortunately, my NLSO is imperturbable towards my affinity--as I said in another post, she considers it "the one really weird thing you do." I get a lot of smiles and nods and semi-phatic congratulations on exploits, bargain-finding, trades, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

All- Ack! I go out for a night at the bar, and LUGNET explodes! That'll teach me to have a social life, shame on me. To Brad and TLC/LD, welcome.   Creating Illustrator like files

Hi all, With MLCad you can print out the models, right? It seems like the output is some postscript or vector drawing. Would it be possible to (directly!) convert the LDraw-file format in an Illustrator-like vector format? Now we would, or could, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Proof of TLG's Concern for AFOL?

(...) No, no. I posted that first, before Brad's momentous announcement -- albeit but mere hours before it. I am thrilled at the crack in the facade of TLC, at last! I hope something truly fruitful for all concerned may come of it. If all goes well, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: 2D positioning ???

(...) Hi! I have tried a method for 2D positioning, and it works if you don't need a high precision. It might be refined for higher precision, but I didn't try it. It is a variant of the gradient fill pattern. There are several ways to do it. The (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

To Brad Justus and all at LEGO Direct, Greetings! It is terrific that LEGO wants to deal directly with customers and to discover what they want.   Re: LegOS 0.2.2 on Win95

Well, in the meantime, i built one on WinNT. The build always failed on Win95. Tried Canadian cross on Linux and i too gave up in frustration.
