In their FAQ they mention that they have to add balalst to the fan unit to achieve nuetral bouyancy so we could probably get a bit more lift by removing that... hmm. I gotta get me one of these : ) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

This will not work. Imagine a straight line that you want to follow. Drive for 5 seconds, allowing to drift to one side or the other.
