RE: Lego trains and the RCX

If you just want to turn the trains on and off, without speed control from the RCX, you can build a relay out of a motor, and a Lego switch. Run the trains from the train controller through the switch. Hook up a motor to the RCX to move the switch. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Please help, I need a 6557 set

(...) The big exclusive across the name scares me that this set may have been available only from S@H. I would give them a try. Will (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Following-up on Ooops!

Hey y'all: I find it shocking that so many people having read my post about not wanting to reveal the names of bad traders, have then asked me to reveal the name of the bad traders I barely alluded to. All I can say is that there are definitely (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: FreeNetnames comes up trumps!

(...) It looks really spiffy! I *really* like the random set idea! The hitbox add is submerged at the bottom of my window though (Netscape 4.6), ie - the bottom is going off the bottom of the screen. I'm curious though why it duplicates a lot of the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.publish)

Yep, that's a Confederate Soldier's Kepi, I've been drooling since RckRdrs came out, waiting for a fig set, and here it comes out and I have (emptying pockets) $2.78 of money free for myself, soooo, guess I'll wait for it to go on (...)   Re: Lego: Toy of the Century! (according to Fortune)

(...) Naaahhh - I probably only have 200-250,000 bricks or so. Though I don't even want to TRY to add it up. 30+ 5571s is a good sized chunk of my boxed sets, along with 5 8880s (and to think, I owned NO 8880s a year ago!), 12+ 1252-1256 Shell sets, (...)   Re: favicon.ico

That's right. When you add a web site to MSIE's favourites list, it displays a little icon next to it. Apparently (as you can see from your logs) it tries to get this from the chosen site. Failing this, MSIE then defaults to his own icon (a little (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)
