Hi All, Building away last night on a new train creation and something occured to me. Has anyone used mindstorms to control a dual reverse loop circuit? You would need to block three sections of track (for two reverse loops). Sensors could detect (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

problem downloading srec file to RCX

Bad things happen when I try to use the firmware download tool from the NQC environment to download an SREC file produced by either Web cross compilor.   Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) I've been trying to keep a low profile on this thread after having stirred the pot at the beginning, but now that I think of it, I have a few pseudo- philosophical questions. There've been myriad discussions of the merits and shortcomings of (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: in Frankfurt next week?

(...) Check out the flea market on the west bank of the Main R. on Sat. morning. It's basically between the clump of museums and the river.   Re: quick copy of legOS howto?

A new copy is now up at www.duke.edu/~liv/HO...OWTO.html.   Re: Building Bridges

Hi, all: I'm in the midst of a large bridge project myself. I'm adhering to the 2 plate slope / 1 plate rate-of-change guideline, but for other reasons. I'd add that you probably shouldn't climb sharply through turns - that just complicates the (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: quick copy of legOS howto?

Argh. Sorry about this, folks- no idea what the problem is, and the machine is not remotely accessible in any way, and I'm in at home (in Miami) while the box is still at school (in North Carolina). If you still need a copy, I may be able to find a (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Cannot access the LEGO trains web page

(...) But that e-mail address is only for the web club. They won't answer such "trivial" questions... (...) I can. It give some a flash/shockwave movie thingie. Maybe your browser doesn't have that. It's not so cool anyway... Good look, Shiri (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)
