  Re: New part: Plate 6 x 6 x 2/3 Cross with Dome - 30303.dat

(...) I got just one response from someone who measured the angle on his as being 86 or 87 degrees. -John Van (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: LEGO trains...The Future of Model Railroading?

(...) Well, if we follow John Neal's ideals, you should figure out how to build the bridge with LEGO string, and give S@H a call right now and order all that peneumatic tubing. Oh, and get rid of those decals (and listen to Larry cheer). (...) And (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What is a "Rock Monster" worth?

Search around for the address to the MA12 auction. I think there were 3 Rock Monsters auctioned off there. -Rob. Skip <skip@rsgbang.com> wrote in message news:FLnqC2.A6t@lugnet.com... (...) found (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

RCX --> miniBoard(was: lack of interest in basic stamp and basicx)

(...) Is anyone here thinking about going the opposite way, i.e replacing the RCX with a Mini Board? I am contemplating such a switch for essentially two reasons: cost and size. For the price of a Rcx you can buy two mini board kits, and they are (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: LEGO trains...The Future of Model Railroading?

Mostly I agree, BUT.... (...) <snip> (...) Not more, not less. Just a different type of creativity. I've expounded on this before: what we do is work in a medium and we, when we stay "pure", are working within the limits of the medium. My goal is to (...)   Re: LEGO trains...The Future of Model Railroading?

(...) I still will respectively disagree. If we refuse to use anything non-LEGO, my prediction is that we will NEVER get much if anything from the list? If we grant TLC a total monopoly (which is what you are proposing) on this type of toy, we will (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: lack of interest in basic stamp and basicx

(...) Go to Radio Shack and get "Getting Started in Electronics" by Forrest M. Mims. Its easy, accurate, and quickly usable knowledge. The book is 8.5"x11" and about .25" think with a green cover. After that look at any of his topical books (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: LEGO Outlet store - NOTICE!

Re: lack of interest in basic stamp and basicx

From a somewhat-less-technical background: I think I have enough electronics tinkering experience to breadboard together some of the "home brew" sensors--if I do build 'em, the first would probably be the $3.50 temperature sensor, although of more (...)   WTB/WTT: Hard to describe piece to BSB

I am looking to buy or trade for a piece that the 6285 inventory refers to as "1x4x2 Brick Round Ends w/ 2x2 Button Center". The Black Seas Baracuda has three of these in yellow, one each above the side windows, and one in the rear on top of the two (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
