  My recent LEGO dream. :)

Had another one last night. Went to Target or some similar store (NOT a toy store), and found a motherload of sets. :) Nothing "old", unless you count the "Classic Series" sets in the golden boxes. :) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=...=-=-=-=-=- (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Homer Simpson, Master Builder

(...) Mage said "LEGO" singular. I wonder if TLC (TLG, whatever) is happy or upset about that. ;) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=...=-=-=-=-=- jmbrown@mines.edu (URL) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO trains...The Future of Model Railroading?

All, I'll take a moment to disagree with Mr. Masi. If LEGO wants to push LEGO trains. They need one key item: a marketing angle. The days of building a better product and the customer will pound your door down are over. We live in a marketing driven (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Favorite castle minifigs (was Re: Gold/Silver Fig Crest?)

(...) That would have to be the Black Knight with the foofy mustache. He's so cheerful-looking, he always makes me laugh. Interestingly enough, he's specifically a sailor - I don't think he's anywhere except on 6057 Sea Serpent and Black Knight's (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Is 6097 Night Lords Castle worth it

Hi all, Sorry for dragging this a little off topic... (...) The KB ToyWorks is in Piscataway/Edison, off Rt 287 at Stelton Road, go south a little ways, look for the Kohl's they're building on the left, and it's in that plaza. I found three Android (...) (...) Hey, it's a good thread. (...) Dangnab frickin' frackin' million-and-fifty-two catalogues... (...) Nice incitation effect there. It does seem that an intensity change of over 1.5% ought to be detectable again! Given (as you said) that a (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: FAO Prices

(...) There's a weird white and pink cardboard box on the shelf of our "local" FAO (in the mall, naturally) that has obviously been there for a LONG time--I think it's 4138, I didn't have a pen to note the number. It does have a couple of pink 4L (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Shell sets... more non marled slopes

(...) It's not an *entirely* new development for 1999--1997's Outback Racer (6550) has a yellow non-marled 3x4 low-slope hood/glacis plate (It could be armored, really!), with hub gaps. However, I've never seen one in 2x3. I thought the smoothie (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: ZB has Technic Space Shuttles?!?

Yikes, I hate the back button.... Anyway, I just wanted to add that the ZB near Potomac Mills Mall has around 40 of these sets also, and I figure that they will treat them like they treated the 5571's last year. The pricing went something like this: (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shell sets... more non marled slopes

Not officially, but I have seen them on eBay. I have been mulling over whether I should gouge some hapless collector by releasing one of the set of sets I got to that venue... but there are so many cool parts in them that it will truly be tough. (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
