  Re: Tuesday Morning Sale

(...) I was late - couldn't find the place so I went to another store (the first was in a basement) It was a madhouse - all gone by the time I got checked out. The grandpa guy in front of me had a 6281 on sale for $19.99 (argh) I offered him $30 to (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I'm also running RIS 1.0 on NT 4.0 SP3, not that I use it that much. My preference is RcxCC. -Wes (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Pure Energy & the RCX

I fully concur. They seem to work well initially, but managing a set of them is fraught with peril. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a "bad battery" tester. But there isn't. So some freak battery that isn't cutting it gets in your pack, and you (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Tuesday Morning Sale

(...) My wife went this morning, and she got me the 1715 Basic Bricks set for $4.99. It has 400 bricks + 80 or so "free" (Whatever that means. I'll find out when I get home.) Not too shabby. That is about $.01 per brick. She also said that they had (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Ben's LEGO 4449 Daylight train.

Hi Ben, It just occured to me that you train should be able to use switching points, right? Those wheel rest on top of the rails, so they do not stick down in between the rails, right? By the way, I tried a bunch of the links on your train site and (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: RIS ver. 1.5 and Windows NT

G'Day My two cents, the v1.0 RIs runs just fine under NT 2000 RC2, I am still waiting for my 1.5 upgrade to arrive.   Re: What is Fabuland?

(...) Wow, I haven't heard of FabuLand in a looooong time. Back in the early '80s, There was LegoLand (Castle, Town and Space), Duplo and FabuLand (for kids too small for LegoLand, but too big for Duplo). The sets featured a lot of large bricks (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.fabuland)
