(...) Rather like many AFOL's in the United States being concentrated in California; IT / high tech industry plus affluence. If you think Devon is far away from everyone, try South-West Scotland. Ian Bishop, Ayrshire, UK (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: More news on 2000 lineup!

(...) As far as Castle vs. Ninja, it's debateable as to whether or not Ninja belongs in the same sub-theme. As far as being eastern/western, I think I'd agree for the most part except for the one key difference of having guns. That seems to put the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  no BURPs?

It just occured to me that I hadn't seen any BURPs in the new catalogue, so I went back and looked closer - no BURPs in the new sets. Lots of SPUDs and POOPs, but nary a single BURP! Is this indicative? James (URL) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: BEWARE of John DiRienzo

(...) Ditto again. Of the several times I've dealt with John, he's only been late once, although he *can* be very hard to get a hold of via e-mail. There must be some other factor here. James (URL) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: shop at home news

(...) Yup, I noticed that too. Did anyone else notice that we're now paying US prices in US dollars? And then tax/import on top of that? Unless, of course, nous parlons Francais... time to brush up on my second language skills. James (URL) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Hapless WinNT user

Apparently, standard gcc include files are processed as well. This should never happen, as legOS defines everything on its own. Maybe there's an additional command-line switch for that? -Y or something? Good luck, Luis - I have access to a NT box in (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
