  Re: Different Idea over CastleDastville

(...) Why no STEP commands? Sensibly laid out STEP commands can make a submodel much more easy to understand by a person looking at it. And I can't see why including the STEP commands is a hassle for anyone using the DAT files. Fredrik (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  BrickShelf

I was just looking through the new catalogue, and it occurred to me what a wonderful thing it was to be able to do so. Thanks to Todd Lehman for Lugnet, and Kevin Loch for BrickShelf. Richard Still baldly going... Check out Port Block at (URL) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Phleet Photos Phublished

Mr L F Braun wrote (...) is (...) before.) I like it! I like it fine! HMS Indomitable is the finest example of the art that I think I have seen. If anything, I think its enhanced by the B&W. Not only does it reduce the pic to very realistic colours, (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Better sets for adults

(...) One of the old regular-posters on rec.toys.lego found a factory that would produce similar-to-LEGO bricks (but not similar enough to infringe on patents) in massive quantities. We were planning on making a number of bulk purchases, but then I (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  JVM and spirit.ocx

Todd. Has anyone done much on this subject? I am looking at writing a class library to communicate/program the RCX from Java and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. I have seen some work on the net, but nothing definitive... Geoff (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

  2000 Town construction sets

Looks like we'll have lots of new town construction sets for 2000: (URL) it may just be me, but I think that these sets don't look as much juniorized as the 1999 town sets. True, they're still juniorized, but not as much, are they? Fredrik (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: A shirt with the classic space logo on!

(...) That's cool; I know where I can get that done (most largish towns and cities would, wouldn't they?) Cheers for hunting :: paul (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: Bigger/better scans of 2000 sets?

(...) I think it's time for a friendly wager. Meesa bet you Jar-Jar yessir! BTW I'm 0-2 in betting on SW sets. I lost a buck thinking the Gungan Sub was purple. Then I lost another bet thinking the Grimace was blue, not purple:-p Smart money might (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Update 9906?

Great news to see things moving again - many thanks, Steve. A great motivation for me to get those parts off the "drawing board" and into DAT files. Many, many thanks are due to Terry for all his hard work, adjudication and perseverance in the past. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
